Our take on barbecue is simple...start with quality meat, season it with complimentary spices and herbs, and slow smoke it over a clean charcoal fire with added wood for a distinct smoked flavor that adds perhaps the most important layer of flavor.  

MEAT - We offer all of the most popular smoked meats in barbecue.  Hickory smoked brisket is our specialty.  Pulled pork, pork spare ribs, and pulled chicken round out our core offerings.  Looking for something else like smoked turkey, sausage, or whole or half chickens?  Just ask, we often can accommodate special requests.  

SIDES - Most side dishes at your local barbecue spot are an afterthought and often boring or unimaginative.  Not at NRC.  We put a lot of thought and attention into our sides that accompany your smoked entree!  Jenn's Mac 'N Cheese is addictive and our most popular.  Our Hog Apple Baked Beans have created a cult following.  No, we didn't invent the recipe, but we perfected it with our own twist!  Seasonal roasted veggies, roasted potatoes, potato salad, and slaw round out the perfect compliment to the meat!

APPETIZERS - Have you ever had a moink ball?  A hybrid word, moink is the marriage of moo and oink!  An Italian beef meatball wrapped in bacon, seasoned and smoked to perfection and finished with a our specialty barbecue sauce glaze.  Order a lot, they go fast and set the tone for an amazing meal.  We also offer beautiful veggie, fruit, and cheese/cracker platters that are visually stunning and will impress our guests.
